Rich is an accomplished leader in the med-tech industry and founder of Minnetronix, Inc. He has served as the company’s Chairman of the Board since its inception and served as its Chief Executive Officer until his retirement in 2020.
As CEO, Rich led Minnetronix’ growth to over $100M in annual revenues and completed hundreds of development programs, introduced dozens of products to the market, and manufactured hundreds of thousands of medical devices. Rich’s career began with the 3M company where he worked on industrial and medical technologies. He was ultimately responsible for extracorporeal and implantable circulatory support products, for which he received 3M’s highest technical and business awards.
Rich served on the Industry Advisory Board to the University of Minnesota’s Institute for Engineering in Medicine and as an industry advisor to the Kern Engineering Entrepreneurship Network (KEEN). He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
