January 19, 2009

ST. PAUL, Minn. January 19, 2009 — The editors of Twin Cities Business Magazine have selected Minnetronix as a 2008 “Small Business Success Story.” This award, presented since 2002, invites Twin Cities Business readers to help identify small companies of notable achievement with inspiring stories. Over 50 nominations were received and Minnetronix was selected as one of nine recipients.

Minnetronix, located in St. Paul, Minn., is a medical device company specializing in the design, development and manufacturing of electronics-based medical devices. The firm, founded by three former 3M engineers, has become what they had intended, and much more – an organization that offers innovative engineering services for the development and manufacturing of medical devices; a company that offers a balanced, efficient and integrated approach between design and manufacturing.

On the nomination, Rich Nazarian, CEO, said, “Minnetronix appreciates being recognized by Twin Cities Business Magazine. We never take this kind of recognition lightly and we are honored to be in the distinguished company of the other hardworking awardees.”

Growing from three employees in 1996 to 135 today, Minnetronix has worked on more than 100 development and manufacturing projects for 75 different medical device companies. Projects range from nerve stimulators to surgical ablation systems to cardiovascular support products.

Minnetronix was honored at an awards ceremony on January 15, 2009, at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Minneapolis.
