Matt joined Minnetronix Neuro in 2016. In his General Manager role, he is responsible for developing and executing the strategy, tactics and programs that drive our Neurocritical Care business. He now also leads the Optical/Fluid & Gas Systems technology initiatives for Minnetronix Medical.

Matt brings more than 20 years of development and commercial experience in the medical device and healthcare industries. Prior to joining Minnetronix Neuro, Matt served as Vice President of Technical Operations and Business Development at Rebiotix, Inc., a biopharmaceutical start-up. His experience also includes leadership roles at American Medical Systems with P&L responsibility in general management as well as senior leadership roles in marketing, research and development, and clinical research. Additionally, Matt worked at Medtronic where he was a cross-functional leader in their Neuromodulation business.

Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alaska and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. He also attended the Minnesota Executive Program at the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota.
