Minnetronix Names Accelerator Award Winners

Minnetronix Medical named its most recent Accelerator Award winners at its July 2025 all-company meeting.

The Accelerator Award is Minnetronix’s highest form of recognition. Honorees significantly improve Minnetronix’s work and delivery to customers and patients, while modeling the cultural and business leadership that drive great results.

Jack Blum and Kristin Rodriguez – 6S Yellow Belt Training Grant

  • Blum and Rodriguez took a creative approach to funding training by submitting and winning a $27,000 grant from the State of Minnesota to provide 6S Yellow Belt training for 30 employees.

Mary Steitz – Internal Audit Support Program

  • Steitz developed a program to train approximately a dozen internal team members to serve as a resources that are available as needed for auditing support. This creative approach addressed a need while also providing training that benefits participants.

John Mundahl – “Minnehow” Video Training Library

  • Mundahl helped develop a solution that cuts ECO training from 30 hours over three weeks to less than three hours with the establishment of an on-demand video library with hands-on work problems.

Jack Zutter, Tanner Stein, Anthony Avalos, Austin Nelson, Mark Meyers, Nathan VanKampen, Nathan VanBeek – New Operations Breakdown Process

  • The team established a process that allows listing individual steps in each build (instead of just a single ‘build the device’ step), allowing for smarter staffing on a per-operation, per-line basis.
