Tali Niedenfeuhr Named Finalist in Tekne Rising Star Category

Minnetronix Medical’s Tali Niedenfeuhr was named a finalist in the Rising Star category at the 2024 TEKNE Awards Ceremony at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Nov. 14. The TEKNE Awards are presented by the Minnesota Technology Association (MnTech) and recognizes top technology companies, products, and talent in Minnesota.

The Rising Star award is given to promising individuals who are early in their tech careers, with less than 10 years of experience, but who have already made remarkable contributions and demonstrated exceptional potential within their technology area.

Niedenfeuhr, a process development and clinical applications engineer, has led multiple impactful initiatives at Minnetronix. She was instrumental in bringing two cleanrooms to Minnetronix, enabling 12 new medical device projects for eight different customers. She also founded the company’s Green Team, securing a $25,000 grant to enhance sustainability efforts.

Niedenfeuhr also played a pivotal role in the MindsEye deep brain access port project (which won a TEKNE in 2021). Minnetronix was also awarded the award for Tech Talent Development for 2024.
